The jacket
A three-layer slate blue shell with every seam taped, a peaked hood that adjusts at the back, water-resistant chest zips and velcro tabs at the cuffs.
Four things
The zip. Brass, two-way, so it opens from the bottom when you sit down.
The yoke. One seam across the shoulders, cut on the bias, so the back gives when you lift your arms.
The pockets. Bellows pockets with a flap, sewn through, so they hold their shape full.
The label. Inside the neck, the number of the jacket and nothing else.

Machine wash cold with a technical wash. Reproof yearly.
