A migraine is more than a bad headache. It often comes with nausea, light sensitivity and a throbbing pain on one side.
Keep a headache diary for a month. Most people find two or three triggers they can change: irregular sleep, skipped meals, dehydration, long screen time or too much caffeine.
If you need painkillers more than ten days a month, see a neurologist; preventive treatment can cut attacks in half.
