Our emergency department is open 24x7 with a dedicated resuscitation bay, a stroke code team and a cardiac cath lab on standby.
If someone is unconscious, not breathing, or has chest pain or sudden weakness on one side, call us immediately.
Call immediately if someone has
- Chest pain, pressure or tightness
- Sudden weakness, numbness, a drooping face or slurred speech
- Difficulty breathing or choking
- Heavy bleeding, a head injury or a fall from height
- A seizure, or is unconscious

Cath lab opens in under 60 minutes for a heart attack, day or night.

CT and clot-busting treatment within the golden hour; 38-minute door-to-needle.
Trauma bay
Two resuscitation bays with an on-site orthopaedic and general surgery team.

Every arrival is seen by a nurse and colour-coded by urgency.
