Where they were
Kora's patients were booking by phone and collecting reports in person. The previous app needed eleven taps to book a GP and was unreadable at larger text sizes.
What we did
We designed around the waiting room: big type, high contrast, one action per screen and a family profile so one person can manage parents and children. Every flow was tested with patients over 60 before a pixel was polished.
What happened
Three taps to a booking, 4.8 stars on both stores and 62% of appointments now booked in the app.
Designed in the waiting room
We prototyped on real phones in Kora's Indiranagar clinic and watched patients book, cancel and find reports. Anything that needed explaining was redesigned.
Clinic testing, family profiles and large-type states.

“My mother booked her own follow-up on the new app. That was the brief, and they nailed it.”
