Inside the atelier: why we cut three lengths

A dress that fits at the hem feels made for you. Here is how our pattern cutters do it.

Most dresses are cut for one height and hemmed by hand afterwards, if at all. We think a romantic dress deserves better.

Three patterns, not one

Our pattern cutters draft every dress and skirt three times. Petite shortens the bodice and the skirt, so the waist sits where it should. Tall lengthens both, so a midi never becomes a mini.

Your length travels with your order

When you choose Petite, Regular or Tall, it is printed on your order note and on the packing slip, so the right piece is pressed and wrapped for you.

Still unsure?

Try the Dress Finder. It asks for your height and suggests the length for you.
