This policy explains what personal information Ironhand Tattoo Co. collects, why we collect it and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you book or buy from us we collect your name, phone number, email address and, for deliveries, your postal address. When you attend a session we verify your age from a government photo ID and you complete a consent form that includes health information relevant to tattooing, such as allergies, skin conditions and medication.
If you send us reference images or photos of existing tattoos, we keep them with your booking. Our website also records basic technical information such as device type, pages viewed and approximate location.
How we use it
We use your details to manage bookings, take payment, deliver orders, send appointment reminders and aftercare information, and respond to enquiries. Health information is used only to decide whether and how it is safe to tattoo you.
We send marketing emails or messages only if you have opted in, and every message includes a way to opt out.
ID and consent forms
We record that your ID was checked and your date of birth. We do not keep a copy of the ID itself unless the law requires it. Signed consent forms are retained for three years after your last session, in line with good studio practice, and are then securely destroyed.
Photographs
Photos of your tattoo are taken only with your agreement and are shared publicly only if you have said we may. You can ask us to remove a photo from our website or social media at any time.
Who we share it with
We share information with service providers who help us run the business: payment processors, delivery partners, and booking, email and hosting providers. They may use it only to perform that service. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information where required by law.
Payments
Card and UPI payments are processed by our payment partner. We do not see or store full card numbers.
Cookies
The website uses cookies that are necessary for the cart, booking and sign-in to work, and, with your consent, analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can decline non-essential cookies.
Security and retention
Records are stored on access-controlled systems and paper forms are kept in a locked cabinet. Booking and order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, and for no longer than necessary otherwise.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw consent to marketing, or ask us to delete it where we have no legal reason to keep it. Write to hello@ironhand.example and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
