Why spacing, depth and sunscreen decide how a delicate tattoo looks in ten years.
Ink spreads a little under the skin over the years. Fine lines placed too close together eventually meet.
Spacing
We keep lines at least a millimetre apart and size pieces up when detail needs it.
Depth
A steady, shallow hand keeps lines crisp without blowouts.
Sun
UV breaks ink down. SPF 50 on healed work is the best thing you can do.
