One grid, five colours
Made torepeat.

01The studio
A small system of clothes, made to be worn again and again.
Vireo began with a drawer of tees that never quite matched. We drew one pattern grid, picked five colours and set out to make the pieces people reach for every morning: a heavy tee, a wide trouser, a merino crew, a mac. Every piece fits with every other piece, and the ones you wear through come back on a plan, before you notice you need them.
02Principles
Three rules we design by.
One grid
Every pattern is drawn on the same block, so a Vireo tee sits right under every Vireo knit and coat.
Five colours
Chalk, stone, ink, ecru and fern. Nothing to coordinate, nothing that clashes.
Made to repeat
If you love a piece you can put it on a plan, and the same piece arrives in the same size, every time.
03Process
Draw. Weave. Make. Repeat.
01Draw
Patterns are drafted once on our twelve-column block and refined over seasons, not replaced.
02Weave
Long-staple cotton, merino and linen from mills we visit every year.
03Make
Small runs in two partner workshops, checked by hand before they are folded.
04Repeat
Plans restock the pieces you wear most, so you never shop for the same tee twice.
