Salt, sunand slow suppers
Made for the hours between the sea and supper.

The studio
Solstice began in a small studio a short walk from the water, with one complaint: bikinis sold as a single size, and holiday clothes that only work for one photograph. So we started cutting swimwear you size top and bottom separately, and resort pieces in linen, gauze and crochet that go from wet hair to a long table without a change. Everything is made in small runs, in colours taken from the shore.
What we believe
Three thingswe never skip
Sized like people
Tops and bottoms are sized on their own, and every one-piece comes with a fit note written after real swims.
Made to travel
Linen that forgives a suitcase, gauze that dries on a chair, crochet that packs flat.
Colours from the shore
Salt white, lagoon, sand and one coral. A palette that all mixes, so ten pieces make thirty looks.
How a season is made
From the shoreto your suitcase
01Walk the coast
Each season starts with a trip. We note the water, the heat and what people actually wear after six.
02Cut and swim test
Every swimsuit is worn in the sea for a week before it is approved. Straps, seams and lining get rewritten.
03Small runs
We make little and often, so colours stay considered and nothing sits in a warehouse for a year.
04Packed with care
Folded in tissue with a cotton pouch for wet swimwear. Ships within two days.
