Maison de couture du soir · Paris

The hour of velvet

Evening couture, cut by hand in numbered editions — for the nights you intend to remember.

01 / 04Look I — Le Grand Escalier — Duchesse satin and silk crêpe on the stair of the Salon Paris, 21:00

La Maison

We make very few things, very slowly, for the hours after dusk.

Every Nocturne gown is draped on the stand before it is ever drawn, cut on the bias by one pair of hands and finished in the atelier on Passage des Lanternes. We make each design in an edition of no more than forty, number it inside the lining and never make it again.

Hélène Marchetti-Vaux, directrice de création

Letters from clients

Kept in the atelier ledger

I arrived at the salon unsure of everything and left with a gown that felt as if it had always been mine. The candlelit fitting is a memory I will keep for life.
