LTPO, explained in one minute

Why a screen that slows down to 1 Hz makes your battery last longer, and when you will notice.

A normal phone screen redraws itself 60 or 120 times a second, even when nothing moves. An LTPO screen can slow right down when the picture is still.

What you notice

Scrolling still feels smooth at 120 Hz. Reading a page or looking at a photo drops it to as low as 1 Hz, which saves power.

Is it worth it?

If you keep your screen on a lot, yes. It is one of the reasons the Nova X lasts a long day on a 5000 mAh battery.
