The superhero party checklist (capes optional)

Superhero parties are the easiest theme to get right and the easiest to overdo. Here's our checklist.

Set the scene One bold backdrop beats ten small decorations. Pick two hero colours and repeat them everywhere: balloons, plates, the cake.

Give them a mission Kids want a job. A 'training course' of tunnels and cones turns the first hour into something they talk about for weeks.

The finale End with a confetti cannon. Trust us.
