Sunscreen on deep skin tones: no white cast, no excuses
Why SPF 50 matters even in monsoon, how much to use, and what to look for if you hate white cast.

UVA rays pass through clouds and glass, so SPF is a daily step, not a beach step.
How much
Two finger-lengths for face and neck. Most people use half of that.
Texture matters
Fluid and gel sunscreens with modern filters dry clear on deep skin. Mineral formulas with zinc can leave a cast unless they are tinted.
Reapply
Every two to three hours outdoors. Indoors, once in the morning is usually enough.
