Every piece that leaves Maison Orvale can come back to be made yours. The Tailoring Room sits behind the salon, and it is the busiest room in the building.
The fitting
It starts with pins. You stand in the jacket, we mark the sleeve so a quarter inch of cuff shows, and chalk the waist where it wants to come in.
The work
Most alterations take five to seven working days. A trouser hem is the quickest; a full jacket suppression is the most rewarding.
A good alteration is invisible. You just notice the man looks well dressed.
