How to choose a sofa depth
Seat depth decides whether you perch or sprawl. Here is how to measure for both.
Most people choose a sofa by width. The number that matters more is seat depth.
## Perchers and sprawlers
If you sit upright, look for 52 to 56 cm. If you curl up, 60 cm or more.
## Measure the room, then the door
We ask for your doorway and stair dimensions before we confirm any sofa over 200 cm. It saves everyone a very long afternoon.
