Minimalism is less about owning little and more about choosing on purpose. A few habits make it easier.

Dressing with intention means every piece in your wardrobe has a reason to be there. It is less a rulebook than a habit of asking one more question before you buy or get dressed.
Plan outfits, not items
When something new catches your eye, think about the outfits it completes rather than the item on its own. A great jacket that matches nothing you own will spend most of its life on a hanger.
Keep a tight palette
Choose three or four base colours and one or two accents. Everything mixes, getting dressed takes minutes, and the wardrobe feels larger than it is.
Edit with the seasons
Twice a year, try everything on. Mend what needs mending, pass on what no longer fits your life, and note the gaps worth filling next.
