Barefoot vows by the sea

Tara and Kabir traded a ballroom for a beach: an aisle of jute, a floral arch facing the waves and a sangeet under string lights.

Tara and Kabir met on a beach and wanted to marry on one.

The plan

We chose a quiet cove, blocked two resorts for 140 guests and planned the ceremony for 4:30 pm, before the tide turned.

The décor

Ivory drapes, wild florals and a jute aisle. Guests got fans, sunscreen and a playlist for the bus ride.

The night

The sangeet moved under string lights on the sand, with a live band and a choreographed surprise from both mothers.
